Students from the first and second year courses of Semey Medical University recently participated in the “Shakarimnin ar bilimi” Republican essay contest. The contest was held in honor of the 165th anniversary of the birth of Shakarim Kudaiberdiyev, a renowned philosopher, poet, and historian known for his contributions to Kazakh language and culture.
Among the participants was Aida Aitzhanova, a student from group 1102 studying General Medicine. Aitzhanova’s essay earned her third place in the competition, and she received a well-deserved diploma. Overall, 28 students from SMU took part in the contest and were awarded letters of appreciation.
The contest’s organizers hope that the event will help students gain a deeper understanding of Kudaiberdiyev’s life and work.
