On April 12-13, 2023, at Semey Medical University NJSC, students and members of the student scientific circle of the Department of Microbiology named after Professor M.M. Urazalin took part in the scientific and practical conference “Science and Health” for students with international participation, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of anniversary of Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karazhanova L.K. 4 reports were submitted from the department, 2 of which won prizes and 1 speaker received a nomination. In the section “Fundamental scientific research in modern medicine”, the 2nd place was taken by a 3rd year student of the specialty “General Medicine” Sekebayeva Kamila, scientific supervisor, Master of Pedagogical Sciences, teacher of the Department of Microbiology named after Professor M.M. Urazalin Razakova N.G. The 3rd prize was taken by 2nd year students of the specialty “General Medicine” Baygonov T.G., Zhanybekov D.S. – scientific supervisor Master of Pedagogical Sciences, teacher of the Department of Microbiology named after Professor M.M. Urazalin Orazbayeva A.K.

In the section “Fundamental scientific research in modern medicine” the report of the 3rd year student of the specialty “General Medicine” Kurmanova Nargiz – scientific adviser Master of Medical Sciences, teacher of the Department of Microbiology named after Professor M.M.Urazalin Zhaksebergenova A.B. was awarded in the nomination “Best Young Scientist”.
