On April 19, 2023, at the military department of the SMU, NCJSC, on the eve of the great holiday – the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, students of groups 3418, 3410 of general medicine, under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel of the medical service Smailov Nurbek Sadenovich and teacher of the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies Orynbasarova Bayan Askarovna took part in a curatorial hour, dedicated to the Hero of the Soviet Union, pilot Abdirov Nurken Abdiruly.

Students prepared a presentation “Nurken Abdirov – Hero of the Soviet Union” about the life and feat of the pilot. The purpose of the event is to foster a sense of patriotism, pride in the war heroes, who defended their homeland from the Fascist invaders.
