On April 12-13, 2023, the 65th scientific and practical conference of students with international participation “Science and Health” was held at the Semey Medical University, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karazhanova L.K.

During the conference, sections worked in the following areas: “General education disciplines and military training”, “Fundamental scientific research in modern medicine”, “Public health and public health”, “Development of modern pediatrics”, “Modern development trends in dentistry”, “Actual problems Surgery”, “Modern Therapy: Trends and Social Needs” and “Poster Reports Section”.

The conference was attended by university students, students from other universities of Kazakhstan, as well as students from neighboring countries.

Students of the 3rd and 4th year under the scientific guidance of the teachers of the Department of Propaedeutics of Children’s Diseases also actively participated in the conference and won prizes, were awarded diplomas.

A student of the GM group 4125 Sagyndykova Gulnur won the st place, Sapargalieva Albina 3526 of the GM group 3rd place, Ashirbay Bekzhan of the GM group 3102 received a diploma in the nomination “Brilliant defense of research”.

The purpose of organizing a scientific-practical conference is to search for talented young people in various fields of science. Opening new opportunities for improving education in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
