Musin PhD Tuleutaeva R.E. on the topic : “Problems of antimicrobial use and antibiotic resistance in the modern world”. The meeting discussed the problems of providing medical care, prevention and rehabilitation for cerebral stroke. Also, the issue of irrational use of antibiotics and the causes of antibiotic resistance are analyzed.

Stroke is extremely common and ranks first among the causes of disability. More than half of stroke patients are persons of working age. Of the survivors, about 80% of patients become disabled, 30% of stroke patients need constant care, and 20% cannot walk independently. To date, the risk of stroke throughout life in the adult population has increased from 1:6 to 1:4.

Antibiotics are one of the greatest discoveries of mankind, with the advent of which previously fatal diseases have become curable. However, in the modern world, the wide availability, irrational and widespread use of this group of drugs are becoming the main cause of antibiotic resistance. To date, the resistance of microorganisms to antibacterial drugs is one of the most serious challenges facing the public health system. The prevalence of antibiotic resistance is steadily increasing worldwide.[/vc_column_text]
