The purpose of the work: Career guidance work with interns to choose a residency in the specialty “Pediatrics”

May 4, 2023.  at the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after D. M. Tusupova, an “Open Day” was held for interns in the specialty “Pediatrics”. The head of the department Alimbayeva A. A. and the assistants of the department Imanmadieva D. M., Akhmetzhanova D. O., Nazarbekova M. S. introduced interns wishing to enroll in a residency in the specialty “Pediatrics” with the profession of a pediatrician. Residents of the 1st academic year Talgat A., Temirzhanova P. were briefly informed about the department, familiarized with the progress of pediatricians, tasks and training bases in Semey. In order to exchange professional experience during the residency, the possibility of internships from other districts and cities was announced.  Interns received information about the work in the reception department, triage sorting system located in the children’s building of the clinical center “UH NCJSC” and demonstrated images, video materials from practical skills performed daily at the clinical bases of the pediatric direction in Semey. Comprehensive answers to the interns’ questions are given. The staff of the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after D. M. Tusupova hopes that many interns will show interest in mastering the specialty of a pediatrician.
