Summer School “”Comprehensive approach to the problem of pneumonia in children, rehabilitation”

05.05.23 on the basis of the DRC “Toktamys”, the final third day was held within the framework of the Summer School “Integrated approach to the problem of pneumonia in children, rehabilitation” conducted at the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after D.M. Tusupova.

The guests were: Residents – pediatricians of the 1st and 2nd years of study, residents-neonatologists of the 1st and 2nd years of study, residents-pulmonologists of the 1st and 2nd years of study interns pediatricians of the 6th and 7th year, students from Ust-Kamenogorsk and Pavlodar also participated in the online format. Also the guests of the summer school were the teachers of the department: Akhmetzhanova D.O., Nazarbekova M.S., Alibekova B.A.

Residents of rehabilitation specialists of the 2nd year reported a presentation on the topic – Rehabilitation after pneumonia of  children, highlighting all aspects of rehabilitation for this pathology, took into account the correct formulation of the rehabilitation diagnosis in accordance with all modern standards and NPA, simultaneously showing and consolidating everything with practical skills. The following were shown: respiratory gymnastics according to the Strelnikova method, the method of paradoxical breathing in pulmonological pathology, the method of drainage massage in children of different ages, as well as methods of reflexotherapy, in particular acupuncture, as well as the Head.named by the Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Pediatrics. D.M. Tusupova Alimbayeva A.R. took an active part and showed exercises on the new PNF technique for mild diseases.

The issues of physiotherapy, diet therapy and spa treatment in children after pneumonia were also highlighted.

For the listeners, the material was interesting and had great practical significance because in the future everyone will be able to apply the above techniques on their patients and children.

At the end, a brainstorming session was held in order to consolidate the information received, the listeners actively participated and received small gifts in the form of very useful oxygen cocktails and a session in a salt mine, which favorably affects the respiratory organs, for correct answers.

Feedback was also provided on behalf of the participants, the guests thanked the organizers for holding this event.
