On May 5, 2023, at the BSMP base of the Department of Therapy of the Semey Medical University, NCJSC, an event “Open Day” was held in order to conduct career guidance work on admission to residency in the specialty “Adult Cardiology, children’s”, “Adult Pulmonology, children’s”, “Adult Endocrinology, children’s”, “Therapy”, “Hematology”, which was organized by the Department of Therapy of the Semey Medical University, NCJSC and the School of postgraduate studies. The assistants of the department provided interns with the department, as well as showed interns the Department of cardiology, Hematology, endocrinology, the department of functional diagnostics. Presentations on residency training were prepared in the field of professional activity. As well as residents replenish the baggage of theoretical and practical knowledge through academic mobility with national and international universities. During the meeting, issues of support for interns in the process of choosing a training profile and the sphere of future professional activity were discussed.
