Seminar with T. R. Rakhypbekov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On May 19-20, 2023, a two-day seminar was held at the SMU, NCJSC with Tolebay Kosiyabekovich Rakhypbekov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, President of the National Association “Primary Health Care”, PhD (Japan), doctor organizer of the highest category. Tolebay Kosiyabekovich gave lectures on the topics “Strategic development, project management”, “Spirituality and leadership”, “The great power of unification”, “Innovations in PHC”. Among the students are undergraduates, doctoral students, undergraduate students in the specialty “Public Health”, teaching staff of the Department of Public Health, Epidemiology and Biostatistics, General Medical Practice.

Tolebay Kosiyabekovich made a great contribution to the development of healthcare in the region and throughout Kazakhstan, he is the founder of the system of primary medical and social care in the country, which gives the best indicators of public health at lower costs and higher public satisfaction with medical care. The PHC system, and in particular the district polyclinic of the Enbekshikazakh district of the Almaty region, which is a project of the National Association “Primary Health Care”, was highly appreciated by the Minister of Health of Kazakhstan and WHO experts and recognized as a demonstration platform for PHC for 53 Member States of the WHO European Region.

For 2 days, the participants of the seminar listened with interest to the lectures of Professor Tolebay Kosiyabekovich, where he shared his experience in project management, leadership and spirituality in daily work. The seminar was held in a relaxed and interactive way, where the speaker actively interacted with the audience and teaching staff. After the seminar, everyone was very satisfied, noting the unlimited enthusiasm and rich experience of Tolebay Kosiyabekovich in organizing healthcare, as well as his invaluable contribution to the development of the university.
