The eighth Regional Biology Olympiad named after Professor, Doctor of medical sciences Marat Musin was carried out in MSI “Secondary School named after M.Auezov” of the Kokpektinsky district of the Abai region on May 12, 2023. The public foundation named after Professor M.Musin is the annually founder and sponsor of the Olympiad represented by Ozhmukhametova E.K., PhD, doctor of clinical pharmacology of the City Multidisciplinary Hospital No. 2 of the Akimat of Astana and Kazymov M.S. doctor of medical science, acting professor of the General Medical Practice of Semey city. 33 participants from 9 schools of the district took participation in the Olympiad: secondary school named after Aukhadiev, secondary school named after Abay, secondary school named after Pushkin, secondary school of Kokpekty, secondary school of Kokzhayyk, secondary school named after Amangeldy, secondary school of Preobrazhenskaya, secondary school named after Shaizhunusov, secondary school named after Auezov.

The Biology Olympiad unites schoolchildren, who show interest in the subject, and is a form of selection of the best applicants for our University, was held in the state and Russian languages.

The administration and staff of the school are grateful and express gratitude to the sponsors of the Olympiad. Participants received cash prizes and diplomas. Each participant of the Olympiad and the teachers who prepared the winners were awarded certificates.
