In the period from June 12 to 19, 2023, an interdisciplinary summer school on HIV infection was held, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Semey Medical University. The participants of the summer school were students in the specialties “General Medicine” and “Dentistry”. The summer school was conducted by Suleimeneva D.M. – Head of the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery, Rakhimzhanova F.S. – Head of the Department of Microbiology named after Professor M.Urazalin, Maukaeva S.B. – Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Immunology and Dermatovenerology.
The summer School on HIV infection is traditionally held every year. This is a communicative platform for the exchange of experience, competencies and energy, it is held for participants who want to achieve new results, are ready to experiment, put forward some ideas.
The purpose of the summer school is to provide additional educational services to students in the development of the basic educational program, as well as the assimilation of new knowledge by students, the ability to apply them in practice, learn how to work in a team, as well as the development of communicative abilities.
