We, cadets of 3-4 platoons of the military department of the NCJSC “Semey Medical University”, under the guidance of teachers: Lieutenant Colonel of the reserve Medical Service N. S. Smailov, lieutenant colonel of the reserve medical service A.T.Smagulov, at the second stage of the training camp, completed professional practice at the Military Hospital of Semey.

The purpose of the practice is to systematize knowledge and consolidate practical skills acquired in military training classes.

While staying at the Semey Military Hospital, we got acquainted with the volumes of work: in the department of therapy, surgery, reception, pharmacy, laboratory, functional diagnostics, physiotherapy, etc. and they practiced practical skills. Each specialist introduced us to their functional responsibilities. We were doing the work of an assistant doctor on duty. The institution is equipped with new medical devices and modern (CT, USDG, Velergometry, Holter monitoring, etc.) devices. We analyzed the algorithm of working with modern equipment and the volume of medical care provided to servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The practice has contributed to an even greater interest in our profession.  The personnel of the training platoons expresses gratitude to the staff of the Military Hospital for their attention and exactingness in mastering practical skills!
