On October 16, 2023, under the guidance of the assistant of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology of the NAO MUS Almagambetova A.A., 5th year students of 5108 and 3516 GM held a charity event: “Do good!” for children of the children’s department of the MUNICIPAL STATE ENTERPRISE ON THE RIGHT OF ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT “Regional Mental Health Center” of the HD region of Abai.

  The purpose of the campaign is to attract students’ attention to the problems and difficulties faced by patients of the children’s department as a medical problem. Showing courtesy and participation to the children of the department of the MUNICIPAL STATE ENTERPRISE ON THE RIGHT OF ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT of the «Regional Mental Health Center».

The assistant of the Department of  Psychiatry and Narcology Almagambetova A.A. made a welcoming speech and told the students about the importance of showing attention and care to young patients.

A psychotherapeutic training was held, where the children of the children’s department played, danced, sang together with the students. The students treated each child with a special approach and they were surrounded by attention and care.

Then the students presented gifts in the form of books and toys. The children were delighted, laughed, made good contact and received a huge amount of positive emotions. It was very fun and interesting.

At the end of the meeting, the children noted that they had great pleasure, a boost of energy, they were delighted with the performance of the students and their gifts.  Students became motivated for positive actions, positive thinking and increased empathy!
