On October 10, 2023, according to the requirements of standard curricula, the first meeting of the student scientific circle was held at the military department.

The following issues were considered on the agenda:

– election of new members of the scientific circle who entered the military department in the 2023 academic year.

– distribution of platoon personnel among the teaching staff of the department

– familiarization of the members of the scientific circle with the research topics of the teaching staff for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Performance:   the head of the cycle of the military department, Colonel of the reserve Mamykanov Rinat Toleutaevich, responsible for the organization of scientific work at the military department, spoke about the need for the creation of a scientific circle, about its significance for the military medical science of our university, what tasks the circle pursues and proposed to distribute students of platoons among the teaching staff of the military department.

Performance: 5th year student M.D. Abdrakhmanov told about his own practical experience in organizing a scientific circle of the military department in the 2022-2023 academic year, the need for military medical knowledge for our university, explained the structure of scientific knowledge: theses, scientific articles and presentations at conferences. He paid special attention to the correct registration of documents that must be checked for anti-plagiarism.

Based on the above, it was decided:

1. To approve the plan of scientific work of the military department of NCJSC “Semey Medical University” for 2023-2024.
2. Determine the order of the meeting of the members of the SСС, quarterly the first Friday of the new month.
3. Approve according to the Plan of scientific work for the teaching staff for students of the military department.
4. To elect a 4th-year student A. Rinatkyzy as the secretary of the student scientific circle of the military department and assign her the duties of maintaining the official documentation of the scientific circle.
5. Choose a 4th year student Zh.Chokan is responsible for working with the mass media of the scientific circle.
