On the eve of Republic Day, October 24, 2023, conversations were held with students of foreign groups (204 IKTU, 2506, 2507 GM “MUS”) at the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Professor S.O. Tapbergenov (acting head of the department Olzhayeva R.R.). Students got acquainted with the meaning of October 25 – Republic Day of Kazakhstan, the history of the holiday, how the holiday is celebrated. Student Ifekwe Kalu from the East Kazakhstan University said that the Republic Day of Nigeria is celebrated on October 1, students from India celebrate their holidays in the Republic of India on January 26 and in Pakistan on March 23. It is important to conduct such events among students, both domestic and foreign students, this helps them better understand the history of the country.
