The Department of General Education Disciplines of Semey Medical University is hosting a student essay contest on the theme “My profession is my conscious choice!” The goal of this competition is to promote the growth of young people’s civic consciousness and a sense of responsibility for the future of the country.

1st year students of all specialties at Semey Medical University are encouraged to participate. The competition aims to assess the author’s wise choice of profession, their abilities, interests, and inclinations, and how these can lead to success in both their education and career.

To participate, send your creative essay on the topic “My profession is my conscious choice!” with the subject line “Essay contest” to ood@smu.edu.kz by November 1, 2023. Essays may be submitted in Kazakh, Russian, or English. To know the essay requirements, click here.

The awards ceremony will take place on November 3, 2023, and the best works will be published in various media outlets and on social media.
