On October 30, 2023, at the Department of General Medical Practice in Semey NJSC “MUS” a regular meeting of the Clinician School was held, dedicated to the issues of clinical and laboratory diagnosis, treatment, prevention of rickets in young children, as well as the peculiarities of the course, early diagnosis, emergency therapy and prevention of diseases associated with rickets: spasmophilia and hypervitaminosis D.

The meeting was prepared by interns-GPs of group 701 under the guidance of teachers of the department, headed by the head of the department, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.A. Dyusupova.

Issues related to the early identification of risk factors contributing to the development of rickets, spasmophilia and hypervitaminosis D, the pathogenesis of the development of these conditions, the main clinical symptoms, laboratory diagnostic methods, approaches to therapeutic and preventive measures in accordance with the current regulations were covered.

After a presentation on the main issues of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of rickets, spasmophilia, hypervitaminosis D in the format of the “Own Game” quiz. 6th and 7th year interns and teachers of the department took an active part in the discussion, noting the importance of the issues discussed.
