On 02.11.2023, a curatorial hour on the theme “Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan” with the participation of students of 5215 groups was held at the Semey Department of the OVP in the NAO “MUS”.

The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan is an advisory body under the Head of State, created by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 1, 1995. The first President of the country, N.A. Nazarbayev, first voiced the idea of creating the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in 1992 at the first forum of the People of Kazakhstan dedicated to the first year of independence. The need to create such an institution arose politically, as well as from the point of view of the newly created, independent, multi-ethnic, sustainable development of the state. This initiative laid the foundation for a new stage of strengthening intercultural dialogue and became a new direction in world practice, which allows solving problems of the development of interethnic relations at a high level.

The whole importance of the Assembly was discussed at the curatorial hour. The Assembly’s contribution to the future of our country is very high.[/vc_column_text]
