The issues of prevention of sexually transmitted infections and precautions were considered:
- Avoid casual sex. The fewer sexual partners, the lower the risk of disease.
- Before engaging in sexual intercourse, pay attention to the presence of signs of STIs in your partner (ulcers, rash, redness, discharge) and avoid sexual intercourse if something suspicious is noticed.
- Observe personal hygiene standards, since if they are violated, you can become infected with some STIs even at home. The causative agents of sexually transmitted diseases can penetrate through microscopic damage to the skin and mucous membranes of the genitals, mouth, and rectum.
This topic was chosen due to its high relevance. Prevention of sexually transmitted infections has made significant progress in recent years and remains important for the next generation. By supporting the health of the student community, this information helps create an informed and responsible generation capable of maintaining their health and preventing the spread of infections. The youth of Semey city can receive qualified medical and psychological assistance in our center. For any questions of interest, you can contact the youth health center “Zhas Omir”.[/vc_column_text]
