At the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery, in the discipline “Therapeutic Dentistry”, Associate Professor N.B. Khaidarova has developed and uses MOOC on the “Canvas” platform for 4th year students of the Dentistry Faculty in the discipline: “Clinical Endodontics”, “Parodontology”.

On the Canvas platform, groups of Dentistry Faculty’s 4th year students have been formed. Each participant had the opportunity to undergo the training according to the subject of the course and expand their understanding of the chosen subject. Modern tools of communication make it possible to optimize the presentation of information, making it concise and easy to understand.

The program allows to improve the organization of the educational process and the formation of communicative interaction between a teacher and students. The program is built on the basis of pedagogical principles, implemented on the basis of technical tools of modern information technologies, methodically provided with a unique set of systematized electronic assessment training tools and test materials that allow students to develop the required skills and abilities.[/vc_column_text]
