On November, 2023 at the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies of SMU, NCJSC under the supervision of the curators of the department Mamyrkhanov G.M., Van O.T., Smagulov Zh.I., Ykybaeva N.B., Musabekov N.E., Kovylina R.A., students 3419, 3448, 3444, 2106, 3443, 3660, 3206, 3660, 3443 groups in the specialty “General Medicine” and 2430 group “Pediatrics” were held curatorial hours on the topic: “A healthy lifestyle, the harm of alcoholism, tobacco smoking and drug addiction.” The harm of smoking is that it causes three main diseases: lung cancer, chronic bronchitis, coronary disease. It has long been proven that tobacco is the cause of death from lung cancer in 90% of all cases, from bronchitis and emphysema in 75% and from heart disease in about 25% of all cases. Alcohol and drug use leads to physical and nervous exhaustion, and the body’s resources are quickly exhausted. First of all, the nervous system, heart and liver suffer. Prolonged use leads to dystrophy of internal organs and affects the genetic code and future offspring. The groups were fully consulted on the topics of drug addiction and alcoholism, all students were able to ask their questions. They discussed the harmful effects of drugs on young people and measures to prevent drug addiction.
