Independence Day of Kazakhstan is the main national holiday of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This date is celebrated in Kazakhstan annually on December 16.

On the eve of the holiday on 13.12.23, employees of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases of the NCJSC “Semey Medical University” Efendiyev I.M., Kumarbekova A.K., together with 615 group of interns, organized and held a solemn event dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was held on the basis of the “Regional Center of phthisiopulmonology and Infectious Diseases” of the Abai region. This event was attended by all staff of the department, hospital administration, pediatric infectious diseases doctors, phthisiologists, secondary and junior medical staff. The interns prepared a concert, reproduced the scene of the shooting of Kairat Ryskulbekov by Zholtanov Miras, Muratova Madina, Sagymbai Yerkezhan, the performance of kui poppuri on the dombra Bekjigit Talshyn, the performance of the song “Alga Kazakhstan” by Bauyrzhankyzy Ayaulym, the hosts of the event were Azimbai Laura, Alzhekeeva Marzhan.

The Republic of Kazakhstan is a young independent state. However, during this period, significant large-scale state transformations took place in the country.
