From January 8 to January 13, 2024, the Department of Therapy hosted a winter school “Clinical Practicum” for 5th year students of the foreign department. The goal of the winter school is to improve the practical and communication skills of students, acquire independent skills in caring for patients, deepen and consolidate professional competencies. Responsible for organizing and conducting practical classes: head of the department of therapy Mansurova D.A., Orekhov A.Yu., Abylkhairova A.K., Maymysheva S.Yu., Ryskenova A.E. Teachers of disciplines such as cardiology, pulmonology, endocrinology, hematology introduced students to the work of the departments. Students took an active part in patient supervision on a daily basis. Afterwards, the students, together with the teachers, analyzed clinical cases, delving into such aspects as examination methods and selection of treatment for each patient. After finishing the winter school, the students were given certificates and photographs were taken as souvenirs.[/vc_column_text]
