From 01.11.23 to 12/30/2023, the South Ural State Medical University hosted the All-Russian online Olympiad with international participation “Dream Profession”, which was attended by 1511 students from 82 medical universities and faculties of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. Our students of the specialty “Public Health” also took part in this international competition: Saniya Zhaksibayeva, Farida Sailaugalieva, Danil Skripnikov (301 group), Lyazzat Kabidenova (401 group).
The organizing committee of the Olympiad included Professor of the Department of Public Health Tokanova Sh.E., associate professor Tokesheva Sh.M.
At the first stage of the Olympiad – test control – all our participants showed excellent knowledge of occupational health issues of medical workers of various specialties, scoring fairly high points.
According to the terms of the second stage, each participant had to create a booklet dedicated to the prevention of occupational and professionally caused morbidity among medical workers. All creative works were evaluated by experts from educational institutions in Russia and foreign universities. As a result, 442 out of 494 participants made it to the final, including representatives of our university.
In the third stage of the Olympiad, creative videos from the finalists on the theme “Dream profession” competed for victory. And at this stage of the competition, our Olympians demonstrated their outstanding creative abilities, creativity, as well as skills in their profession.
Our talented and ambitious participants were quite successful in this competition, confirming the high level of knowledge of preventive disciplines, which was also noted by the members of the Organizing Committee of the Olympiad. All the guys received personal certificates; for high-quality and prompt work, Professor Tokanova Sh.E. and associate professor Tokesheva Sh.M. were thanked on behalf of the rector of the South Ural State Medical University.
