According to the work plan of the scientific school «Current problems of brucellosis», on January 22-26, 2024, a winter school was held at the Department of Infectious diseases, dermatovenereology and immunology, in which infectious disease residents of the first and second years of study took part. The school was held online, through the zoom platform, as residents studying in Pavlodar also took part in it.
The head of the scientific school, doctor of medical sciences, Honored Professor of Semey State Medical University, Professor of the Department of infectious diseases, dermatovenereology and immunology of SMU, NCJSC Lidiya A. Mukovozova opened the work of the winter school, presenting the main directions and results of the work of the scientific school «Current problems of brucellosis».
Associate Professor of the Department of infectious diseases, dermatovenereology and immunology, candidate of medical sciences Alma Z. Tokayeva revealed issues of epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations of brucellosis in adults, and Assistant Professor of the Department of children’s infectious diseases, candidate of medical sciences Anargul A. Mansurova presented the clinical and epidemiological features of the course of brucellosis in children.
Upon completion of the school, Professor L.A. Mukovozova wished the residents successful mastery of their chosen discipline and encouraged them to engage in scientific activities.
