On 02/07/2024, the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics  with 4th year students, conducted a career guidance conversation for 11th grade students of  “Secondary School № 16 named after. T. Amanova” Semey с.
Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics Baybusinova Assel and senior teacher Ordabaeva Inabat, with students of group 4216 of General Medicine, demonstrated an image video about Semey Medical University, and introduced in detail the history of the university and the organization of the educational process. They listened to information about studying at the university, educational programs, opportunities to participate in academic mobility, qualifications obtained after graduation, opportunities for studying, etc. Students shared stories from their student life, talked about the opportunity to express themselves at the university not only in their studies, but to conduct volunteer activities, engage in various scientific and sports sections, clubs, organizations, etc. Also noted in the conversation was the opportunity to take preparatory courses in chemistry and biology at the university. At the end of the conversation, all schoolchildren were given handouts from the Foundation school.
The students listened to the information about the university with great enthusiasm and some of the schoolchildren expressed a desire to enroll in our university.[/vc_column_text]
