Drugs are common among young people and teenagers. Tens of thousands of people die or become incapacitated from drug addiction every year, and the vast majority of them are teenagers and young people under the age of 30.
In order to prevent drug addiction among adolescents, as part of the “Drug-free School” campaign, on February 9, at Secondary School #30, under the guidance of PhD associate professor of the Department of OVP Shalgumbaeva G.M., assistant of the department of OVP Saidualiev D.N., resident of 2 years of study in the specialty “Family Medicine” Muzhanova A.S., a lecture was held: “The influence of narcotic substances on the human body.” During the lecture, they discussed what types of drugs there are, how they affect the body, and what are the consequences of drug addiction. More than 50% of students in grades 7-9 answered in anonymous surveys that they would not give up using drugs…Among the main reasons for drug use, it should be noted the desire to experience something new and risky, it is also important to belong to a group of friends and the fear of being rejected by the group and remaining isolated.
Drug use for the first time may occur simply out of boredom and a desire to have fun, look more adult, and often in order to relieve the burden of problems and negative emotions surrounding a teenager in his daily life. It is often a protest against a lifestyle, against existing relationships (in particular, in the family — between parents and loved ones). If adults do not give the child the opportunity to be himself, it means that he is uncomfortable and uncomfortable with them. And he will definitely look elsewhere for opportunities to feel like a person and a personality. Where he finds what he wants is unpredictable. Parents need to remember that their child perceives the world in a completely different way and for him all these reasons are quite real and significant.[/vc_column_text]
