On February 15, 1989, the last Soviet troops left the state of Afghanistan. Thus ended a 10-year war, in which the Soviet Union lost more than 15 thousand of its citizens. Kazakhstanis participated in the Afghan military conflict as part of the Soviet military contingent. And it is clear that the Day of withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan is a holiday of Afghan veterans, and a day of memory and mourning for all fallen soldiers-internationalists.
February 15 as a date is called to honor the memory of all soldiers-internationalists, who fought outside the country, showing deep loyalty to their homeland, honestly and selflessly following the military oath, showed high examples of courage, fortitude and heroism.
Such soldiers-internationalists as Korsakov Talgat Tyulyubaevich Korsakov as an electrician, Akhmetov Dauletkhan Bazarkhanovich as a worker of mobile group work in the staff of NAO “Medical University Semey”.
And the memory will not disappear in our hearts about the soldier-internationalist, Knight of the Order of the Red Star, lieutenant colonel of medical service Abishev Marat Junusovich, many years headed the department of military training and brought up more than one generation of future officers of medical service.
In order to form a common culture and morality, familiarization with the achievements of Kazakh culture, spiritual and moral values, education in the spirit of respect for the dignity, honor and history of each nation, and the further development of military-patriotic education of cadets of the Department of Military Training NAO “Medical University Semey”, students of 4319 group of the Faculty of “General Medicine” honored the fallen soldiers, laying flowers at the monument to the soldiers-internationalists.
