On February 15, 2024, a seminar was held with the participation of a nephrologist, MD. Professor of the Department of Nephrology of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov Kabulbaev Kairat Abdullayevich, on the topic “Arterial hypertension in persons under 50 years of age, goals and features of therapy from the point of view of a nephrologist.” This seminar was attended by cardiologists, internists, GMP, as well as interns of the Department of General Medical Practice of the Ust-Kamenogorsk branch with the curator Sh.D. Yensibayeva.
During the seminar, the students got acquainted with new modern methods of treatment of renal arterial hypertension. Topical issues of a number of chronic kidney diseases were also discussed. For example: over the past 20 years, chronic renal failure has been detected late and the mortality rate is increasing every day. The professor asked all doctors not to diagnose “chronic pyelonephritis” to everyone in a row, since due to this increased tendency, the diagnosis of CRF remains under the mask of pyelonephritis. Therefore, patients with renal arterial hypertension should undergo a thorough examination every year and be treated on time.
Currently, about 850 million people in the world suffer from various types of kidney disease. One in ten adults in the world has chronic kidney disease. The prevalence of kidney disease in Kazakhstan is 1.5 – 2 times higher than in developed countries.
Such seminars will always be relevant. Given that medicine does not stand still in development, seminars allow you to refresh knowledge, work out skills and share experiences.[/vc_column_text]
