From 02/07 to 02/09/2024. An intensive seminar “Viral hepatitis: latest updates” started at the Institute of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Metabolism “Interna Clinic” (Almaty). The speakers of this intensive were Nersesov A.V., Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Gastroenterology of KazNMU named after. S.D. Asfendiyarova, Medical Director of the Institute of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Metabolism “Interna Clinic” and Duysenova A.K., MD, Professor, Head of the Department of Infectious and Tropical Diseases of KazNMU named after. S.D. Asfendiyarova, consultant at the Institute of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Metabolism “Interna Clinic”, Vice-President of the Kazakh Association for the Study of the Liver. The training was completed by acting associate professor Smail E.M. During the intensive, the latest updates were presented on the topics: “Acute viral hepatitis A and E in the practice of infectious disease specialists and therapists”, A, E, B, C, D”, “Chronic viral hepatitis B, C”, “Treatment of chronic hepatitis B and C in special groups”, “HCV-HBV coinfection”, “HIV-HBV coinfection”.
