On February 29, 2024 the staff of the Department of Neurology, Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology together with the students of curatorial groups visited the specialized orphanage of Semey, located at 24 Gertsen str. With the funds raised, faculty members and neurology residents purchased and donated medications, diapers, clothes and toys for the babies.

The staff of the orphanage are engaged in a very noble work, and give the children all the kindness, care, attention, support and help they can give. However, for children without parental care, any additional attention and care is very valuable. The students of the foreign department enjoyed interacting with the children, playing, giving attention and emotions to the home’s pupils and subsequently expressed their desire to continue participating in the children’s lives.

At the end of the meeting the possibilities and conditions for further cooperation and assistance were discussed.[/vc_column_text]
