03/15/2024 students of the foreign department under the guidance of tutors Kovaleva L.V. (teacher of physiological disciplines department), Wan O.T. (teacher of Simulation and educational technologies department), Shakirova B.T. (teacher of department of GED) took part in a city event dedicated to the Nauryz holiday. The event was organized by employees of the city library named after Abai in English. 1st and 2nd year students of the foreign department were given a presentation about the meaning of the holiday. Nauryz is the day of the spring equinox and is celebrated as the beginning of a new year. The guys got acquainted with the traditions of celebrating Nauryz in our country and learned about national dishes. Games and quizzes on the theme of the holiday were organized and at the end the students were treated to national sweets, flat cakes and baursaks, active students were awarded books. The students really enjoyed the event. Library representatives were pleased to meet our students and will be happy to see us again at thematic events.
