On 17 March 2024, the 3rd National Dental Congress International Olympiad of scientific works among students in the specialty of Stomatology was held for the first time within the walls of NCJSC Semey Medical University’.
Students from various universities participated, including S.D. Asfendiyarov Kaz NMU, Almaty; MUA, Astana; MUK, Karaganda; International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Hodzhi Ahmed Yasawi, Turkestan; NCJSC ‘IUS’, Semey, and others.
The primary objective of this Olympiad is to enhance the research, intellectual, and creative abilities of the participants. Scientific works were conducted in various fields of dentistry.
The scientific section took place in the White Hall of NCJSC ‘ Semey Medical University ‘. The chairman was determined by Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Abralina Sh.Sh. The moderator was Karina Aytkali, and the jury members were Sovetov B.S., PhD of the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor S.O. Tapbergenov, and assistants of the Department of dental disciplines and maxilo-facial surgery Sailaugalieva S.S., Ortbaev E.E. Resident Khalelov S.G. announced the winners, who were awarded diplomas, cash prizes, and valuable gifts. All participants received certificates of participation The first place was awarded to Kasenova Sagida from NCJSC Semey Medical University, the second place to Sabyk Merey from NCJSC Medical University Karaganda’, and the third place to Meirbek Janizet and Isa Aristan from the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Hodzhi Ahmed Yasawi. The winners were awarded with certificates, cash prizes and valuable gifts. All participants received certificates for participation.
