On March 19 2024 the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology held “Career guidance” events in order to familiarize and attract students of grades 9, 10, 11 of ” SCHOOL No. 18 OF SEMEY” in the “SEMEY MEDICAL UNIVESITY”.

Welcoming remarks to the students of the school were made by: head of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology, PhD, Moldagaliev T.M., Ospanova N.N., assistant of the department Almagambetova A.A., residents Golub E.K., Boyaubaev K. K. In their speech, they informed the students about the full information about the dynamic infrastructural development of the “Semey Medical University”, the intensive growth of its educational, scientific and innovative potential. The students of school No. 18 were familiarized in detail with the successful activities of the “SEMEY MEDICAL UNIVERSITY”, received information about which specialties can be obtained – according to 7 educational programs. Semey Medical University has been successfully implementing a program of academic mobility of students and teaching staff for a long time. There is a department of military training. The purpose of teaching military training is to train reserve medical officers for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The students of school No. 18 showed interest and actively asked questions. The profession of a doctor is an honorable, noble and very responsible business for the preservation of the health of the citizens of our Republic of Kazakhstan!
