Students of the 4101st OM group during the course of the discipline “Urology” together with the teacher Bukharieva S.S. Departments of Surgical Disciplines participated in the action “Kind Caps. Waste sorting is not only necessary to make our planet cleaner. At the same time, you can help those who need our support – this is the principle by which the “Good Caps” work. The idea of collecting caps for charity is popular all over the world. One of the first major such actions was the “Blue Cap” in Turkey. There, a medical student during an internship saw a mother carrying a paralyzed baby because they didn’t have the money to buy a wheelchair. He was so impressed that he organized a collection of plastic bottle caps at his institute. After 3 months, the lids were recycled, and the proceeds were used to purchase a baby wheelchair. Similar projects are being implemented in Australia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Japan and many other countries.
