03.04.2024 on the basis of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.K. Raissov passed the first stage of the subject Olympiad in Genetics for students of the foreign department of 1501-1509 first-year groups. A total of 45 students participated in the Olympiad, and the 5 strongest in Genetics knowledge were selected from each group. The first stage took place in the form of testing, students answered 20 test questions of varying difficulty.

The Olympiad was organized by the Head of the department associate professor Orazalina A.S., teachers Yelkenova B.Z., Kulzhibaeva S.R.

Based on the results of the first round, 3 teams of 4 students each will be selected, who will meet in the second practical stage of the Olympiad, where the strongest will be identified.
