School of Preventive Medicine Measles prevention among schoolchildren

Currently, there is a danger of spreading measles infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Measles outbreaks are being recorded all over the world. We know that measles is a very contagious disease. Therefore, immunization is carried out according to epidemic indications. The seminar was attended by schoolchildren who are subject to vaccination against measles. Teachers of the Department of General Medical Practice in Semey told the children about measles infection in an accessible form. They explained that measles is a serious viral disease, dangerous for its complications. Children who have not been ill and have not received the measles vaccine may get sick. The focus was on measles prevention, that is, vaccination. The students asked questions and received answers. The school of preventive medicine was held in secondary school No. 15 for students who are subject to vaccination against measles. The school is organized under the guidance of the head of the Department of General Medical Practice of Semey, NCJSC “SMU”, A.A. Dyusupova.
