25.04.2024  there was a presentation of elective disciplines of the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology for the next academic year for students of the foreign department. For the second year, the department offers for 4th year students a new discipline “Clinical Practicum of Medical History in Therapy,” which was created based on feedback from senior students and internship teachers. The discipline is relevant for a foreign department due to objective reasons for insufficient clinical contact with patients.

The main goal of the discipline is to develop competencies in preparing medical documentation for a therapeutic patient. Students will acquire skills in managing patients, writing medical histories, and become familiar with the operation of the University Hospital’s information systems. The acquired competencies will be necessary for further training and better integration of graduates into practical healthcare.
