04/25/2024 students of the foreign department of the first, second and third years under the guidance of curators L.V. Kovaleva (teacher of the department of physiological disciplines), Wang O.T. (teacher of the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies) in the framework of cooperation with the Library named after Abai took part in a city event dedicated to the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan. The event was organized by employees of the city library named after Abai in English. This is a holiday of the unity of all peoples living on the territory of Kazakhstan. This bright spring holiday is held in every city of Kazakhstan. The event was held to familiarize students with the traditions of different peoples living in the Republic. The guys got acquainted with the traditions, national costume, and learned the national dishes of representatives of different nationalities of our country. Games and quizzes on the theme of the holiday were organized. 1st year students of our university (1508 group) prepared videos about the national attributes of the peoples of India and Pakistan. Active students were awarded with sweet gifts. The students really enjoyed the event, which was attended by young singers from various musical organizations of Semey.
