I am Abdrakhmanova Kamila Bolatovna. Resident of 3 years of study in the specialty “Urology and andrology, including children’s”. I am undergoing residency at the East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Medical Center in Ust-Kamenogorsk in the Department of Urology. My clinical mentor is Kuandykov N.K.

Kuandykov Nurkumar Kinayatovich has been the head of the Department of Urology of the KGKP “City Hospital No. 1” in Ust-Kamenogorsk since 1997. Since 2004 – Candidate of Medical Sciences,

Excellent student of healthcare. He was awarded the government award “Yeren enbek ushin”.

The department headed by him functions as a regional center of urology. Emergency and planned care is provided to patients.

Every day, together with a clinical mentor, we conduct patient examinations, take part in clinical case reviews, and improve communication skills. I independently manage patients under the supervision of a clinical mentor, and also use minimally invasive, various types of surgical methods for treating patients.

On the basis of the urological department (East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Medical Center) in Ust-Kamenogorsk, everything possible is provided to residents to gain knowledge and practical skills.
