Teacher of the department of “General educational disciplines” Bukataeva A.B. Together with students of group 1308 of the specialty “Dentistry”, group 1106 of the specialty “General Medicine”, a class hour was held on the topic: “A Lesson of Courage”.

During the event, the head of the military department of Semey Medical University, colonel of the medical service Orynbasarov Shyngys Orazmukhametovich, and the head of the cycle, responsible for educational work, lieutenant colonel of the reserve medical service Nurbek Sadenovich Smailov, were invited.

The invited guests introduced the students to the exploits of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly during the Great Patriotic War, his creative path, and the human and professional qualities of the national hero. And also with the history of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War – Sagadat Nurmagambetov, the first Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, and Rakhymzhan Koshkarbaev, the first who planted the flag over the Reichstag, and emphasized the significance of their heroism for the preservation of historical memory.

The event helped students understand the significance of heroism and exploits, as well as their impact on modern times. This strengthened the sense of patriotism and respect for history, which they can now pass on from generation to generation.
