On May 4, 2024 teachers of the department of epidemiology and biostatistics Efendiyeva Elnara Imdat kyzy, Zhaparova Jamal Dyusenovna and Tukinova Assel Rishatovna held a regular meeting of Speaking Club for foreign students. The purpose of this event was to teach the basics of the Russian language and promote the development of oral skills among foreign students. Within the framework of the meeting the participants of the club had an opportunity to practice speaking, discuss various topics and share their impressions from studying Russian. The lecturers of the department actively participated in the discussions, offered students useful advice and recommendations on how to improve their language skills. Such Speaking Club events are an integral part of the learning process for international students, as they promote a deeper understanding of the Russian language and culture, as well as strengthen the bonds between students and faculty. It is also a great opportunity for students to socialize with each other and broaden their horizons.
