May 14, 2024 in the «Center of rehabilitation and rehabilitation for persons with disabilities of the region Abay» interns of 701 group Seilhanova L. and Kabdygaliyeva D. conducted sanitary-educational work on the theme: “Prevention of cardiovascular diseases” at the department of “Pediatrics and medical rehabilitation” named after Tusupova D.M.

Cardiovascular diseases represent a huge social and economic problem in the modern world due to their prevalence, high percentage of disability, as well as high mortality. Therefore, the interns gave a lecture on the importance of early detection of cardiovascular diseases, as well as the importance of preventive measures.

In the course of the work, patients were familiarized with such a method of diagnosing heart failure as the 6-minute walk test. The interns explained the goals and methodology of this study. Patients of the center were given recommendations on proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle.
