On May 16, 2024, senior lecturer of the Department of Physiological Disciplines named after Honored Scientist of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.A. Nazarova G.M. Tokesheva together with students of the curatorial group 2427 of the specialty “General Medicine” visited the main museum complex, which is part of the state historical, cultural, literary and memorial museum-reserve of Abai. This complex is named after the poet-educator, the founder of written Kazakh literature, the Kazakh literary language, philosopher, composer, translator – Abai Kunanbayuly.

   The tour began with an introduction to the exposition of the museum “Abai. The Seasons”, created on the basis of Abai Kunanbayuly’s poems dedicated to the seasons. Then, in the hall “Steppe Melody”, students heard Kazakh musical instruments such as dombra, shankobyz, kylkobyz, sybyzgy. Students learned a lot of interesting things about Abai’s work by visiting the halls “The poet’s Childhood”, “Abai and his Time”, “Abai in Fine Arts”, “Abai Poetry School”, “Abai and Modernity”, “Oriental Poems”, “Abai’s Works”, “Abai in the heart of the People”, “Hall souvenirs”, “Iskander’s Poem”. Special attention is drawn to the Words of Edification hall, where students received a blessing with the words that Abai bequeathed to us. The Abai Museum is one of the main attractions of our city. Visiting the museum gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Abai, soak up the spirit of the time in which he lived, and feel great pride in our Great countryman.
