Traditionally, from 2023-2024, a school for a young teacher has been operating in the SMU, the purpose of which is to develop the competencies of young teachers in the field of medical education.

In the current academic year, 25 teachers from theoretical and clinical departments were enrolled in the school.

The school’s lesson plan was drawn up at the request of experienced teachers, and representatives of the administrative and managerial staff also acted as lecturers. In total, 15 meetings were held with a total duration of 30 hours.

At the meetings of the school, young teachers got acquainted with such topics as: normative legal acts, planning of the educational process, the work of the library and research laboratory, digital educational technologies, experience in implementing various methods of assessment and training, communication skills, issues of pedagogy and psychology, control and measuring tools, patient safety in a medical organization and others .

Vice-rector for Academic and Educational Work Smailova Zh.K. addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, who congratulated the teachers on their successful graduation and presented certificates. Young teachers gave feedback on the benefits of this school.
