On behalf of the chairman of the Board, Rector A.A. Dyusupov, to strengthen the work of pediatric personnel training, on 13.05 to 14.05.2024, under the leadership of the head of the department, A.R. Alimbayeva, propaganda work was carried out among students of the 5th and 6th courses for admission to internship in the specialty “Pediatrics” as well as in the specialties of the residency “Neonatology”, “Pediatrics”, “Medical rehabilitation”.

The opening speech was delivered by Alimbayeva A.R. and assistant of the department Dairbekov E.E. and residents studying at the department: Sautbayeva M.M. and Bulambayeva D.R.

 The purpose of this event is to ensure continuous professional education and training of highly qualified pediatricians. The main advantages of admission to internship and residency were highlighted, as well as the need for children’s specialists in Kazakhstan’s healthcare today.

The Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after D.M.Tusupova trains doctors and candidates of medical sciences, assistants with the highest and first category, practical work is supervised by clinical mentors – experienced doctors with the highest and first category. Interns and residents have a unique opportunity to have direct access to patients at various clinical bases, master medical documentation in the KIIS program, participate in morning medical conferences, rounds, consultations, shifts, analyze clinical cases and participate in scientific and practical conferences and master classes.

Those present asked questions of interest to them, and received exhaustive answers from the head of the department, Alimbayeva A.R. We hope that our specialty interested many listeners and will attract the attention of more students.
