Meeting with veterans of the department

On the initiative of some employees of the department, on the eve of the Day of the Medical Worker on June 13, 2024, at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology named after. A.A. Kozbagarova held a meeting with veterans of the department.  Among the invited veterans of the department were Khabizhanova Asylzhan Anuarovna, Kurmangalieva Dolores Asaevna, Nurgalieva Raisa Kusainovna, Zhumageldina Nurilya Alimzhanovna

Each of them worked for decades in medicine. Some of the veterans present headed the department in certain years, were the chief obstetrician-gynecologist of the region, were the first to open a gynecological department in the city and headed it, among them were people who began their careers in the regions and all of course, in different years, trained a new generation of doctors as teachers our university.

Dear veterans for many years have stood guard over the lives and health of our residents, trained and raised more than one generation of outstanding doctors, many of whom are and have headed our university and medical organizations of the city and throughout Kazakhstan.

Such meetings are a wonderful occasion with a feeling of special gratitude to thank you for many years of work, for a history that we can be proud of.

The meeting took place in a warm, friendly and sincere atmosphere. Veterans shared their invaluable experience, telling residents and us teachers their work history, interesting life stories, giving advice to the future generation not only in work, but also in life outside the clinic.  They talked about how you need to be responsible for your decisions and do your work honestly. When telling future doctors about themselves, they noted how many diagnostic methods they now have in their arsenal, which they did not have. But all this must be skillfully applied to make a diagnosis; it is important to be able to talk with the patient.

Over tea, the veterans continued to share their memories, talked about friends, their experiences in medicine, and also congratulated everyone present on the upcoming holiday “Medical Worker’s Day.”
