In order to conduct educational work, students of the military department of group 4421 of the Faculty of General Medicine visited the Museum of fine arts named Nevzorov family on December 2, 2023.

The collection of the Nevzorov family has a long interesting history and dates back to the middle of the XIX century, which the guide briefly told us about, and also informed us about the development of Russian art in the late XVIII — early XX century, and how the museum was founded from the very beginning of its existence. The museum’s collection contains about 5,000 works of art. The special predilection of the artists for the portrait genre reflected the general characteristic of that time, a close interest in man, nature and life. I was surprised by an old cozy two-storey building with spacious halls and high ceilings, built in the 1870s.

The guided tour aroused our interest in art and the opportunity to spiritually touch the times of writing beautiful paintings, from which we received a lot of positive emotions.
