On April 13 and May 19, 2024, the teacher of the Department of Pharmacology named after Professor M.N.Musin Zheldibaeva Umit Toktagazievna held a Speaking club for foreign students of 3-4 courses on the topic “Drug therapy“. The purpose of the Speaking club was to know medical terms in Russian in the field of pharmacology. The main goals of the Speaking club : 1.Improving oral speech: The practice of speaking helps participants to speak Russian more confidently and fluently. 2.The development of auditory perception: The ability to understand Russian by ear is also improved through active communication practice. 3.Vocabulary expansion: In the process of communication, participants can learn new words and expressions used by other members of the club. 4.Cultural exchange: Speaking clubs often bring together people from different cultures, which facilitates the exchange of knowledge about each other‘s culture and traditions. 5.Confidence building: Regular oral practice at the speaking club helps participants overcome barriers and become more confident in communicating in Russian. In the process of communication, the participants learned new words and expressions, which contributed to the expansion and deepening of their vocabulary.

On June 24, 2024, the University hosted the first meeting of the commission for the preliminary distribution of graduates/young specialists and doctors of philosophy (PhD) who studied on the basis of a state educational order for graduates of 2024. Since 2023, this function has been transferred to higher education institutions, research centers and research institutes. The composition of the commission: Chairman of the Commission: Berikuly Duman, Vice-Rector for Clinic and Postgraduate Education of NAO “MUS“ , Deputy Chairman of the Commission: Kasymova Anara Muratovna, Chief specialist of the National Observatory of Human Resources of Healthcare of the National Scientific Center for Health Development named after Salidat Kairbekova. Members of the Commission: Nuridenova Raikhan Kuanyshbekovna, director of the municipal state enterprise on the right of economic management “Polyclinic No. 7 of Semey city“ of the health department of the Abai region. Musabekova Zhanna Asemkanovna, Dean of the School of Postgraduate Education and Graduate Employment of the non-profit joint–stock company Semey Medical University. Kayrkhanova Ynkar Okimkhanovna, Dean of the School of Public Health, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing of the non-profit joint–stock company Semey Medical University. The Commission considered the issues of exemption from tuition fees, as well as graduates/young specialists reassigned to new jobs. According to paragraphs 17-2 of Article 47 of the Law on Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, exemption from the obligation to work is granted to the following categories of young professionals: 1) persons in the absence of vacancies in a locality at the place of residence, work or service of a spouse; 2) persons with disabilities of the first or second group; 3) persons enrolled for further study in residency on the basis of a state educational order, master‘s degree, doctoral degree; 4) pregnant women, persons who have, as well as independently raising a child (children) under the age of three years. A total of 567 graduates were nominated for the meeting of the commission. The Commission discussed the following issues: 1. Exemption from the obligation to train young specialists who completed training on the basis of a state educational order in 2023 for pregnant women, persons who have, as well as independently raising a child (children) under the age of three, in accordance with paragraph 17-2 of Article 47 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Education“ (hereinafter – the Law) 2. Preliminary distribution to medical organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan of graduates who completed training in medical specialties on the basis of a state educational order in 2024. The decision on the first issue: To exempt from the obligation to work out 153 young specialists who completed training on the basis of a state order in 2024, pregnant women, persons who have, as well as independently raising a child (children) under the age of three in accordance with the Law (the list is attached). The decision on the second issue: To pre–distribute 413 young specialists to medical organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan graduates who completed training in medical specialties on the basis of a state educational order in 2024. Muratbayeva Alemgul Kalimbekovna, a graduate of the internship in the specialty “General medical Practice“, should be left without distribution, due to the fact that the young specialist does not get in touch.
