On June 20-21, 2024, Astana hosted the IX Congress of Physiologists of Kazakhstan with International Participation, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of “Astana Medical University” NSJSC and the Department of Normal Physiology. The forum brought together more than 500 participants, including scientists from medical universities of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The congress was also broadcast online, which allowed many interested parties to participate. The event was opened by welcoming words from the Chairman of the Board and Rector of  “Astana Medical University” NSJSC  Nadyrov K.T., as well as the Chairman of the IX Congress of Physiologists Prof. K.M. Khamchiev and invited guests.    From our “Medical University Semey”  NSJSC took part and made a report head of the Department of Physiological Disciplines named after Honored Scientist of  Republic Kazakhstan T.A.Nazarova, Candidate of Medical Sciences Saule Oryngazyevna Rakhyzhanova.  The work of the Congress was held at a high scientific level, 70 reports on the main directions of physiological science were presented. At the end of the congress a resolution was adopted, and all participants and listeners received certificates. The materials of the congress were published in CyberLeninck. Excursions to the University Museum and around the city, as well as a visit to the Astana Opera Theater were organized for the guests. At the end of the Congress of Physiologists of Kazakhstan participants thanked the Head of the Department of Normal Physiology.
